Hungry Shark

Hungry Shark was a big hit with my students last year!

I came across this awesome freebie from Miniature Masterminds and thought it could be a fun and motivating way to work on colour identification, sorting and matching.

This activity also has some built in developmental goals such as imitating the actions, waiting for a turn and recognizing when it is your turn.

Now the music part… my mind immediately went to Baby Shark ( I know…I finally embraced it…) The students got soooo excited when they recognized the melody line from it and this really motivated them to join in singing! I added some actions to the modified lyrics and it quickly became a favourite activity.
